As part of our pirate topic we were looking at different boats and discussed how they float. We then carried out an experiment to see which items would float or sink when you put them into water. We had to predict first and then tested each item. We found out that the items which floated had air inside them and that this is why we wear a life jacket in water. It was great fun!
