Shared Education Outdoor Workshops on Grounds of Hamiltonsbawn PS

We had a fantastic 3rd Shared Education Day with the P6/7 pupils of St. Peter’s PS. Under the guidance of staff from Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, the pupils learnt all about birds in Northern Ireland, proving very knowledgeable during the quiz. Next, they worked in 3 groups to make bird feeders, assemble 2 mini beast mansions and plant lots of plants and shrubs around our school grounds. Many thanks also to Jason Black and Billy Greer who helped Mr. Hutchinson with preparations for today-greatly appreciated!
