Shared Education Trip to Carrickfergus Castle

P4/5 from both Hamiltonsbawn PS and St. Peter’s PS had a great day sharing what they had learned so far about Carrickfergus Castle and discovering lots of new facts from the guides who showed us around. The children continued to work in their mixed school groups, dressing up according to the feudal system and sketching many parts of the castles main features.  The biggest challenge of the day was fighting off the seagulls and guarding our packed lunches.  We now look forward to following up at St. Peter’s in a few weeks time.
