Sam was our visiting minister in Assembly today.  Mr. Hutchinson opened with the theme of ‘light’ by leading our singing with, My Lighthouse, followed by Sam teaching us 3 memory verses, one of which was, ‘I am the light of the world’.  Our volunteers enjoyed supporting Sam. As part of our PDMU curriculum, the Primary 6 children have been taking part in the Spaces to Be programme. Primary 6 have had lots of fun practising for the harvest service over the last couple of weeks. All the hard work paid off when they put on a fantastic performance of ‘The King and the Seed’ for parents, ministers and fellow pupils this morning. Primary 6 enjoyed taking on the role of a first or second class passenger during creative writing. They used information gained from previous lessons and included this in their letters describing their first night aboard Titanic.
