Today we bid farewell to the most amazing, talented group of P7 pupils. They delivered such an entertaining Leavers Service with parents and family members present to cheer them on. The boys and girls were delighted to receive their clay heads from the FE McWilliam Gallery, after drying out. They used a mix of acrylic paints and acrylic markers to complete them. Everyone’s creation turned out wonderfully and we even entered them in Armagh Show! 🥇🥈 Well done everyone! ⭐️

The boys and girls have been learning all about earthquakes and how some buildings are designed to be ‘earthquake proof’.  Using their learning, they were then set a challenge - to create a structure using cocktail sticks and marshmallows that would survive an earthquake!  The children worked in pairs to design their structures and we had lots of fun testing how resilient they...

The Eco Club and Primary 5 pupils had lots of fun creating a scarecrow for Garden Show Ireland. The children reused plastic bottles and milk lids to make beautiful flowers. The boys and girls in Eco Club enjoyed planting potatoes earlier this year.   They have been taking great care of them and even enjoyed a visit from Joanne who works for Wilson’s Country. P6/7 enjoyed the be safe workshop hosted by a selection of different groups such as police and fire service. There was lots of good information shared and the children all engaged really well with the different groups there.
