Today nine schools competed at Kilcluney for the Burn's soccer Cup. A great morning of football was played in 2 groups on 2 pitches refereed by the Burns Soccer School coaches. Hamiltonsbawn, Cortamlet, Derryhale and Churchill competed in Group 1. Mullaglass, Lisnadill, Bessbrook, Newtownhamilton and Drumhillery competed in Group 2. The top 2 in each group played in the semi-final before Mullaglass narrowly defeated Derryhale on penalties after full-time at 0-0.
A big thank you to all schools who attended today and especially to the staff of Burns Soccer School and Kilcluney for the use of their fantastic pitch and facilities.
