Health and Wellbeing Week continues 😊
Today the children enjoyed taking part in more special activities as part of our Health and Wellbeing Week. These included:
🏃🏼♂️➡️ Fitness Fun with Sports City - every pupil from P1-7 enjoyed taking part in activities led by Luke. They were also reminded about the importance of exercise in keeping our bodies healthy and strong.
🍎 Food Demonstrations with Valerie - The P1-4 pupils had a fantastic morning with Valerie who showed them how to make a mixed-berry smoothie. They enjoyed helping with the preparation and Valerie explained the nutritional value of the ingredients she used. Everyone loved sampling the smoothie and there were empty cups all round!
🚦💻 Road and Internet Safety with Gwen from the Policing and Community Safety Partnership - All children enjoyed hearing how to keep safe on the road and P5-7 were reminded of the dangers of the internet through two engaging stories. They also gained important information on how they can keep themselves safe whilst online.
