Well done to all the boys and girls in Primary 5 who put together a fabulous entry for the Hedgerow Heroes competition, which resulted in them winning 20 metres of native hedging for our school grounds! 🎉👏🏻
On Monday, we were delighted to have Emily and Richard join us to deliver the first of three workshops. We took them on a tour of our school grounds and they helped us choose the best location for our new native hedge. We also learned about the importance of hedgerows for wildlife and everyone enjoyed playing a game where we had to use clues to identify different type of trees! 🦔🐜🦋
We look forward to our next workshop when we will be digging and planting!
