Well done to all the children who took part in the hockey tournament today at Ardmore. It was a great day with lovely weather and some amazing hockey. The team defeated Drumhillery 3.0, Lisnadil 6.0 and Markethill 2.0. They were top of their section conceding no goals. We then played Churchill and after a hard fought match narrowly won 1.0. The team were then drawn against the Armstrong in the semi-final. At the end of the match there was no score so we entered golden goal. When both teams couldn't be separated we had to have penalities and were narrowly beaten 3.2. All the children were amazing and everyone played extremely well in every match.
