Ice Melting Experiment in Primary 6 ❄️
19th Jan 2026
As part of their Titanic topic, Primary 6 pupils have been learning about icebergs.
They have also been exploring the importance of fair testing and how to carry out fair tests of their own.
Last week they came up with their own question for investigation and made predictions. Then, they discussed the variables they needed to keep the same and the one that would change. After that, they decided how they would measure and record their results.
Today they had lots of fun carrying out their experiments and collating their results! Everyone took great care to ensure their test was carried out fairly and great discussion regarding their results took place afterwards.
Well done everyone!
