Sam was our visiting minister in Assembly today. Mr. Hutchinson opened with the theme of ‘light’ by leading our singing with, My Lighthouse, followed by Sam teaching us 3 memory verses, one of which was, ‘I am the light of the world’. Our volunteers enjoyed supporting Sam.
Our awards were presented by Miss Henderson for spellings this month and one child from each year group also received a certificate for displaying KINDNESS throughout school. 👏🤩
Our Kindness Cup was presented by last weeks winner, Drew, to Sophie and Ellen. Well done girls for continuing to display kindness daily throughout school. ❤️👏
Our school council competition winners, - Finn, Olivia and Ryan each received a giant pumpkin for guessing the closest to the actual weight of each pumpkin and Freddie will enjoy spending his £40 voucher at Woodview Garden Centre. Thank you to our sponsor and all who entered raising £60 for the School Council who will meet soon to decide how if might be spent.
