Morecambe Residential- Day 3

26th Apr 2018

Day 3 was another fantastic day, this time in Liverpool. We had our usual tasty breakfast at 7,30am before setting off for the Space Port across the Mersey river.  We enjoyed a wide range of exhibits, a simulator ride, Star Wars exhibits and a rocket workshop before having lunch.

Then we made our way back across the Mersey to Anfield, home of Liverpool FC. We walked by the memorial garden to pay our respects to the 96 who lost their life at Hillsborough.  The new stand was SPECTACULAR as we climbed 7 levels to the top of it.  Mr. Hutchinson got to lead out his team, unfortunately only to the dugouts but did get to sit in Jurgen Klopp’s dugout seat. After some time in the amazing shop, we completed the museum tour hoping to add a 6th European Cup next month!

Back to our hotel for a delicious dinner we set off on foot to the cinema to see Peter Rabbit and enjoy a few tasty treats. Finally it was time to get packed up and ready for departure in the morning to Lancaster castle.
