P7 celebrated world numeracy days with a selection of maths based activities. The day started with our P7’s showing off some of their maths magic tricks to all of the other classes and they did a fantastic job. They had a taster of Italian as they learnt to count to 20 with great enthusiasm and some interesting pronunciation. They took part in a numeracy relay race where they had to run through the course before answering 10 varied numeracy questions which required a lot of energy and brain power! The children competed with others across the world through Mathletics and the children all had a go at guessing how many marshmallows were inside the tub. Overall a fun and engaging day of learning. Well done all!
