The boys and girls in Eco Club enjoyed planting potatoes earlier this year.
They have been taking great care of them and even enjoyed a visit from Joanne who works for Wilson’s Country. Joanne informed the Eco Club of the full process involved in producing their potatoes which are on the supermarket shelves. She also enjoyed a visit to the poly tunnel to see our potatoes and provided us with lots of helpful tips!
Today some members of our Eco Club dug up the potatoes and we are very excited to be putting these on sale tomorrow, along with lots of beautiful plants that have been grown from seed.
