Primary 6 had a wonderful time at the FE McWilliam Gallery yesterday, and we extend a special thanks to Jason (Emily’s uncle) and his colleagues for facilitating this fantastic opportunity.
We received a lovely warm welcome and began our day exploring art pieces in the studio with Jason. We then completed a hunt in the sculpture garden and there was even an opportunity to sketch our favourite pieces!
The second half of our visit was spent with artist Debbie who had prepared an amazing craft linked to our current topic, Rainforests. Everyone loved creating their own mini jungle and designing a lizard!
To finish our day, we enjoyed a picnic together in Scarva park and even had time for a play in the sunshine.
