As part of our WW2 topic we came to school as evacuees. We were evacuated on the train from Belfast to the countryside. Then we saw our new classroom, listened to some 1940’s music, wrote postcards home and tried some foods which were rationed. We played with some games from this time and we really loved beetle drive. Finally the war was over and we boarded the train to go home. I’m sure you will agree that the children all looked amazing.
